Snellman acted as counsel to SEB Private Equity, minority shareholders and management in the divestment of VaccinDirekt, the largest retail vaccination provider in the Nordics with over 50 walk-in and mobile vaccination clinics in Sweden and Finland, to the Nordic investment company Impilo.

Snellman Counsel to Equip Capital in the Acquisition of a Portfolio of Companies from Lakers Group AB (publ)

Snellman acted as counsel to Equip Capital, a Nordic private equity firm, in the acquisition of a portfolio of companies that were previously part of the Lakers Group but are now part of Vestum AB (publ). The portfolio of companies consists of 20 operating companies in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Germany. Closing of the transaction is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2023.

Snellman Swedish Counsel to Savvy Gaming Group in Its Acquisition of ESL Gaming and FACEIT

Snellman acted as Swedish counsel to Savvy Gaming Group, a newly launched gaming and esports group, in its simultaneous acquisition of ESL Gaming, from Modern Times Group MTG AB and its minority owners, and of FACEIT, from various sellers. ESL Gaming and FACEIT are two industry leading esport players and will form the ESL FACEIT Group. The enterprise value of the combined transaction was approximately SEK 15 billion.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Aarke is a globally recognised brand that combines quality products, premium materials, and a unique design coupled with a clear focus on sustainability.

PCP provides tailored funding solutions to mid-sized companies in Northern Europe and acts as a strategic financial partner to companies who need additional funds to expand, make acquisitions, refinance their balance sheets, or restructure their operations. Over the last two decades, PCP has engaged and invested in over 130 companies and helped them maximise their potential.

Aarke was founded in 2013 by industrial designers Carl Ljungh and Jonas Groth with a focus on design and development of home appliances from premium materials engineered for the everyday use. The first product, the Aarke Carbonator, was launched in December 2016 after four years of development. The company has since then expanded its product range within the carbonated water market while continuing its strong focus on design and quality engineering.
