Sara is part of Snellman’s cross-border IP & Technology practice.
Her focus is on data protection & privacy, IT/technology, intellectual property, media, marketing & consumer laws, retail/e-commerce and commercial agreements.
She has advised several clients operating in various industries with their GDPR-compliance work, including review of processing operations, data flow mapping and gap analysis as well as data protection impact assessments and data processing agreement negotiations. Sara has experience as an in-house lawyer following secondments with one of Sweden’s largest telecom operators and with a Nordic alternative investment fund. She also advises on M&A in the IP & Technology field.

Snellman acted as counsel to KLAR Partners backed Sandbäckens in its acquisition of the three electricity companies EVIAB Gruppen AB, Växjö Elmontage AB, and El & Projektering Vetlanda AB, controlled by Storskogen Group AB. The companies have a combined turnover of approximately SEK 400 million and have around 180 employees.

Griffeye, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and founded in 2015, is a leader in digital media forensics for child sexual abuse investigations.
Magnet Forensics is a developer of digital investigation solutions that acquire, analyze, report on, and manage evidence from digital sources, including mobile devices, computers, IoT devices and cloud services. Magnet Forensics is backed by Thoma Bravo, one of the largest software investors in the world.

Snellman acted as counsel to Moneta Communications Ltd, a leading UK-based sports betting affiliate, in its EUR 6.0 million acquisition of UK and Australian online sports betting brands from Catena Media.
The transaction covers the sale of all assets in Catena Media’s UK business, which includes sports betting brands Squawka and GG.co.uk, and all shares in the group’s wholly-owned Australian subsidiary.

Snellman Counsel to Paulig in Their Strategic Digitalisation Programme
Snellman acted as a counsel to Paulig, a family-owned international company in the food and beverage industry, in their strategic digitalisation programme. We assisted Paulig with drafting and negotiating implementation project agreements and licence and cloud service agreements with international vendors of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) software.
