Snellman acted as counsel to Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria, a company that is scaling up to become a modern and responsible producing mining company through the reopening of the Viscaria mine in Kiruna, on its directed issue of 42,105,264 shares to professional investors, raising approximately SEK 800 million before transaction costs. The directed issue is intended to be followed by a rights issue. Combined, the directed issue and the rights issue is expected to raise approximately SEK 1.5 billion in cash. The rights issue is expected to be completed no later than during the first quarter of 2026. Handelsbanken Markets and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB acted as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners in the directed issue.
